Samsung Galaxy S24

I want very little from my phone itself:

• Battery life is enough to last an entire day
• No obvious issues with performance
• Decent camera

However, the problems with having a less popular phone is the lack of longevity. Within a few years of buying some phones, software updates stop and accessories become impossible to find (even online). I don’t use iPhones because iOS is too restrictive. Android features like custom launchers and sideloading apps are extremely important to me. Thus, the Samsung S series fits my requirements best.

Accesories

I have been using Spigen cases and screen protectors for a long time. I like black and minimalistic cases, and they make the phone indestructable. I feel perfectly fine tossing my phone around or dropping it.

Software

I installed Niagara Launcher to replace the standard home screen. It sorts all my apps alphabetically in a list that I scroll through. This makes finding apps much faster and removes the need to manually organise my home screen.
